About
My journey in the metalwork realm kicked off with an apprenticeship at Packawaste Ltd, complemented by my time at Preston College. Those foundational experiences led me to co-establish our family venture, Monarch Welding and Fabrication. As time passed, we merged to form SMP, marking our presence with large-scale steel operations that produced an impressive 120 tonnes a week.
I’ve always had a knack for steel fabrication, building waste compactors and crushers. But as I navigated my way through this industry, I discovered a deep-seated passion for plant repair.
Among my proudest professional moments is the completion of the colossal 2,000-tonne hotel in Fort Dunlop, Birmingham—a project that tested our mettle for over 12 months. Another standout task I undertook was the daring removal of the roof at the Jaguar cars factory in Birmingham while it remained operational—a challenge many were hesitant to approach.
My father always told me, “Nothing is impossible.
Never quit, never give in, and if you pour your heart into your work, rewards will follow.” His words became my mantra. Like him, I’ve always had the tenacity to embrace projects that others found daunting.
When I’m not capturing my projects on camera or wielding the welding torch, I’m often at the gym, pushing my limits. And while I’m deeply committed to my profession, I also take pride in engaging with the community, through my YouTube and Instagram channels, I’m passionate about sharing my craft, skills, and insights with a broader audience. As I look ahead, I’m eager to expand my content creation further.
Beyond the world of metal, I have a deep love for boxing. It’s not just a hobby; I’ve stepped into the ring, competing in a white collar boxing match and coming out on top. Outside of work and the gym, my happiest moments are those spent with my children.
